Rosera is a Town (Sub Division) and a municipality in Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Rosera had a population of 27,494 [2001]. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rosera has an average literacy rate of 57%: male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 47%. In Rosera, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.

History
